Why do we love this wine?
This single-vineyard shiraz combines the best three parcels from this well-known estate's ultra-premium vineyard - low yielding vines with an element of dry grown, hand picked and pruned fruit. Vines over 27 years old deliver the concentration and character that only comes with age and careful tending. Lashings of plum and rich dark fruit flow through, with deeply regional notes of spice and pepper that give this classic shiraz its personality. Balanced oak provides elegant softness and wonderful structure without overwhelming the fruit. Take it to the in-laws, take it to wine club, hell, take it to the cinema if you can get it in - we don't care, as long as our Mofos get to try this wine then we're happy!
